It is an honour and pleasure to invite you to the XIIth
International Myeloma Workshop being held in New Delhi from 26
February - 1 March 2009. The Organizing Committee, faculty and other
staff of Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital of All India Institute of
Medical Sciences, New Delhi are privileged to sponsor and host this
workshop. We are all working hard to make it a memorable academic
and social event.
The XII International Myeloma Workshop is the prestigious biannual
event that brings together myeloma experts from around the world.
The scientific program is designed to stimulate debate and
discussion among experts and to advance our understanding of the
disease biology and therapy. The program will include presentations
on molecular and cell signaling changes associated with myeloma
cells growth and survival, new targets and novel therapies, and
discussion of current and future phase I, II and III studies. A
major highlight will be the development and discussion of guidelines
related with diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of Myeloma. A
stimulating pro and con discussion by the leaders in the subject
will address key current questions. The meeting will provide an
opportunity to meet all thought leaders in one place and a chance to
discuss various issues.
Delhi the capital also known as the heart of India offers a
fascinating mix of the old and the new set amongst the historic
monuments and federal government buildings dating back to Mughal
years and the British Empire.
The venue will be The Ashok Hotel which is very centrally located
and is by itself an interesting architectural feat. The other world
